When you have a network, your printer can be shared through a network router via a jack that looks like a phone jack called an RJ-45. By connecting one plug into your router and the other into the printer and then installing a print driver on all the PCs that will be using it you can share the printer. This process is simpler than it sounds as the driver can be found on the installation CD that the printer comes with and also on the manufacturer's website.
